Ribera del Duero Tempranillo Blend

Paired with British style meat pies and a sharply dressed green salad for a birthday dinner.
Poured a rusty toby, but gained cookie with air to a deep purple.
Nose is savory/meaty, all the fruit is bramble fruit; blackberry, black raspberry. The finish is very long, energetic, savory, mineral and still does those sharpish/mineral aspect a couple of minutes later. Concentration is off the charts.

This needed a nice fatty ribeye on day 1. Day 4 just rounding itself to soft yet balanced.

Solid and fairly bold. Enjoyed the 2010 after a good amount of time decanting. This is one we keep coming back to.

So smooth.

At peters. Very good ribera del duero esp with red meats. Probably a bit to strong by itself but great with red meats

Rich, silky red. Nice depth, soft tannins, perfect with braised lamb or a winters stew.

Ripe fruit. Very approachable with Veal.

Drinkable. Nothing special.
