An oldish school Northern Rhone that's hard to beat for the price.

Old school, classic Syrah at an honest price.

Solid bottle of juice... Black fruit, some earth. Tannin and vegetal. Nothing special, but I'm happy.

100% Syrah, dark purple like a California Syrah, but with a fruity chocolate nose and a hint of fennel. Flavor of underripe strawberries and the dryness of limestone lead to a long lasting and yeasty finish that ends with an undertone of coffee bean a few minutes later. Very different from a California or Aussie Syrah.
