Big and a bit overdone. Will try again tomorrow. Better day 2. Spice and pepper notes emerged. Raised rating.

Deep dark color. Blood and fire. Nose is pure berry-cherry of the Zin. Some smoke too. And medical tonic. Flavors are rich and chocolate-y. Also thick boy. It’s nice with the licorice, and leather. It’s hot, but not overly fruit-forward. Just a nice Dry Creek example of the Zin.
