There's nothing like aged wine. It cannot be replicated. Started off with gym sock tinged fruit. Later it was aged Gouda. Crunchy fruit hits hard up front, then recedes to allow the wine to morph into something wholly different. Rotting flowers, velvet, leather and sour cherry linger pleasantly.

Aug 12th, 2018The nose has plenty of leathery funk that only comes with age, with mocha spice highlights. The palate is smooth with a cherry syrup character, and a cedar/oak-tinged lengthy finish. I can't believe this survived for 24 years.

Ripe strawberry and pepper subtle bouquet, velvety taste, with jammy long finish.
