I really liked his wines. A fun place to visit. Aged very well. Chewy, dark forest floor and layers of flavor. Sorry winery closed. I’m staying in place but my cellar isn’t 🍷

So sad they are gone. Fond memories of tasting on lawn chairs in front of their garage. Simple pure mountain fruit with minimal intervention.

Spring Mountain originals since '83. Shawn and John are the real deal - wonderful to sit with them. Not sophisticated or over-ripe, just good Spring Mountain fruit made in a balanced style.
