An old friend, whom I am ecstatic to find again. Basically a Burgundy estate that was exiled from Chablis & is part of Côte d’Auxerre. Concentrated green fruits, lithe, delicate & powerful all at once. The balance is remarkable-I can’t imagine a better QPR. Polaner importer.

The 2018 Saint-Bris Exogyra Virgula is one of the most distinctive wines in the range. Intense floral and savory notes give the Exogyra Virgula its deep, pungent signatures. Sage, mint, dried herbs and citrus peel are finely woven together in this crisp, bone-dry Sauvignon Blanc. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2020)

Light to medium pale yellow. Fresh nose with tropical fruits, honeysuckle, white floral notes and a touch of white stones. Medium acidity (6/10) and light bodied. Fresh and light on the palate with tropical fruits, a bit green apples too. Long finish. Drink till 2023.
