Columbia Valley Gamay Noir

Inky purple in color. Black currant in nose. Plum, cherry, and mint notes in mouth with black currant finish. Tart in front, long cherry flavor throughout. Some astringency on tongue.

Willamette Valley. Dense purple in color. Warm, black currant and tutti-frutti notes on nose. Lingering cherry and black currant and a touch of cool mint in mouth, smooth, rounded mouthfeel, no tannins. Not as fruit forward or hot as it seemed when first opened. A solid Gamay.
