Jun 21st, 2022Cherry cola red. Cherry, leather, cigar box, chewy tannins, nice medium acidity holding it all together quite well. Really nice finish, great full mouthfeel. This is good, my first Amarone.

Något utvecklad med stiltypiska drag av torkad frukt, söta kryddor och tobak. God till lite lagrad ost. Eldigt starkvinsavslut som kanske hade behövt med sötma för att balanseras ut.

An okay Amarone. A little less full-bodied than I expected. Opened the bottle nearly four hours before drinking -- perhaps an hour too long. It did not hold up to the ribeye steak as well as I'd hoped. Everything about it was a little less than I'd expected and hoped for.
