When I don't want or need any more complexity in my life, this usually hits the spot. Went just fine with leftover meatloaf and microwaved corn. Will go even better with sleeping toddler.

Lots of ripe red fruits on the nose including strawberries, cherries, plums, and gooseberries and a hint of raisin. Very rich plum color. On the palate, juicy and bright with more of those fruit notes coming in rounded out by a crisp and slightly mineral/saline finish. Very refreshing with a nice chill. Medium body with a bit of a bite from the bubbles.

Oh dang. Yummy! Fizzy and sweet sour, like a Lambrusco. I could drink 2 bottles and not blink.
