Simply put, the best $20 bottle of wine I’ve had in a very long time, maybe ever. 80% petite rouge, 20% other grapes like fumin, mayolet, and doucet. The nose was tremendous, rising from the glass like perfume, elegant but dense and persistent. Reminded me of a 1er red burgundy meets aged Barolo nose and palate…tertiary red cherry and berries, crushed dried flowers, subtle sandalwood spice, really, really complex! Age your Torrette!
