I could want more complexity to bump this above 90 points, but as is, it is a fine wine with a dark berry nose that shades to sweet dark plum on the palate with a hint of bacon and correspondingly nice acid. A less warm year would no doubt have yielded a more nuanced palate.

This winery moved into the old Brooks location--they were closed, but let us and my sister's family picnic there. On her way out, an employee gave us the remainder of the bottle after the tasting day. It is amazing and the generosity of the employee will bring us back soon!
