Pretty dark fruit on the nose, mainly black cherry, hint of new oak is not overpowering but more to the fore than I prefer. On the palate, the new oak adds weight and vanillins to the dark fruit. Vanilla finish. Very nice acidity. More neutral oak would get a higher score from me.

If you have this wine, I would drink it now. It may get better in bottle but man its so so good right now. Simply delicious.

Gemma dinner...solid, but not spectacular....just trying to spiritually connect with James who is living the life up in Oregon right now....
