Greystone Cellars
California Cabernet Sauvignon
Slightly sweet but really smooth. No tannins no pucker. Not particularly special but nice for just drinking with my favorite person in the world (even if he is drinking Rye).

Nose of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, licorice, cloves, earth, barnyard and black pepper.
Medium bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, bell pepper, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves and peppercorn.
Medium finish with soft tannins and bitter greens.
A typical, inexpensive Cabernet Sauvignon from California. Not fully balanced, simple and uninteresting, but drinkable if there's nothing else around...
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Both enjoyed. Wife thought it was better without food but she didn't like her dinner

Apr 11th, 2016A little sour on the palate. Strong jam flavor. Okay for drinking after a better bottle. Not terrible but not great
