Cassis, black currant, fresh red cherry, mineral and raspberry. Beautiful fruit purity classic of NZ pinot. Medium plus acidity and fine, elegant tannin. Lovely. Great celebration Pinot- back in the saddle again!

Varietally correct, so therefore much better than most Pinots in the $20s. But not much more than that - good fruit, a hint of that New Zealand acid edge, but no real complexity.
