Tasted here in 2017. We primarily tasted their 2011 as they were sold out of all of their good to great wines. Their 11’s were astringent & green. Not a good experience.
This is stunning w/ Allen Brother’s Filets. Less fatty more dry beef cut (when you compare it to their Ribcap) meets juicy, elegant, fruit forward wine at its peak. The pepper & peeper marry well.

We had the 2014 Vintage on 5/9-10/21. This is a full bodied, fruit forward wine. Tannins were all smoothed out. There were tastes of blackberry, plum, chocolate, cassis, and licorice on the bouquet and palate. A good wine

May 9th, 2021Amazing ability to hide 17.5% ABV, it's not a sweet wine but was perfect with dessert and cheese. P&P, so never really spread its wings, but this is distinctive stuff. No heat on the nose (scorched earth, leather). Lots going on - liquorice, compote, kirsch. Some heat at the back of the palate, but not detracting from overall excellence.

This is a fine wine. That first taste is amazing! So is the second. Opened this for a birthday celebration -- great choice!! Happy birthday, Mike!
