Not your typical merlot. Tannins are soft. I really love it.

Good amount of oak and cedar notes on the nose and finish, mildy tannic, very drinkable but still full of under ripe berries and cranberry flavors.

Not a very strong nose, but some dark fruits and baking spices. Medium body, balanced acids and tannins that give a lingering spiciness while being smooth.

The oak was so intense on the palate that it lingered for over an hour even AFTER eating dinner.
