Josko Gravner "Rujno" 100% Merlot 1997 12.5% from Venezia Giulia he does not produce this wine anymore, my first perfect score of the year, I could not imagine 100% Merlot, reminded me of a St Joseph, myrtille, berris, cedar, cinnamon aromas and on palate leather, some bacon, velvet, great acidity and long finish. Amazing

One of the greatest Merlot experiences I've had. Beautifully resolved tannin with bright acid, blueberries and a pine/dusty finish. Truly awesome.
