I mean, this is just fascinating. Corked in 2018, 30 years+ of ageing in large slavonian barrels, the Wine Soc has this as a "drink by 2017"... and yet this is neither brutally tertiary nor overtly out of condition. Nothing left of the tannins, but the acid from a 100% sangiovese crop from a cold ish year seems to hold this together. Definitely not a keeper, but cool room temp service actually makes the petals and mushrooms sit in balance with what's left of the cherries. 20quid, so hardly a big risk.
