A very strange wine, in the begining some sour cherries , later a train of heavy oak, almost undrinkable!

Sauternes smell, slight asphalt? Too much acid.

Earthy, peat moss, metal on the nose, silky on the tongue. Smuggled in Jo's dirty undies through airport security- thankfully no hint of that.

Nothing better than drinking Spanish wine while overlooking the vineyards.

Alcohol integrated wonderfully considering this is a whopping 15.5%. A food friendly wine and very approachable considering the style. Great way to get a Napa drinker to wander into Spain.
