Lagniappe Red Willow Syrah

I really want to like this wine...it’s just flat. Watery and lacks anything that gives verve and edge. Not sure this has much life left.

Speaks of Cote Rotie, blast of minerals on the nose, some cured meats. Dark fruits on the palate with nice acid on the mid palate. Ambers and smoke on the finish with a nice soy element.

Meaty & dark, but good lift & acid.

Red fruit and baking spices. More fruit forward then savory. Long finish. A leaner Syrah.

#gramercy just continues to crush it. I have yet to meet a bottle from them I haven't loved. I just wish I could exercise some restraint and age some bottles but I can't it is too good. #washington #syrah #crushingit

Well balanced and savory. An elegant wine.

2012 vintage. Bright blue fruits with excellent structure and balance. Seems youthful for its age and has the stuffing for further improvement. Very nice.

Youthful 6+ year-old Syrah. Still dark and opaque, this wine sings with bright blue fruits and and excellent finish, supported by a stout structure of fine tannins and nice acidity. Bravo.

Cherry on the nose. Rich in flavor.
