Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.
Lots of smoke and wood on the nose, with vanilla, blackberries, blueberries, red currants, earth and black pepper.
Dry on the palate with currants, cherries, blueberries, vanilla, oak, peppercorn and spices.
Medium to full-bodied.
Long finish with full ripe tannins and black pepper.
14% alcohol by volume.

Nice wine for an evening.... Although very light for a Shiraz up front. Nice body, great mouthfeel... Strawberry raspberry finish. Pinot- noir-ish in many ways when just opened up. Made to sit for a while turns Into a good mature Shiraz. Loved the complexity.,

Another great SA red Shiraz from Graham Beck. Silky smooth with nice fruit and a bit of spice. Great with short ribs!

Old World style nose with smoky earth notes. The palate is dry, smoky and spicy, bringing black cherry, mushroom, white pepper, BBQ and leather. Medium body with a velvety mouthfeel and gripping tannins. Lingering finish of bitter black cherry and campfire.
