Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Dark ruby/brown in color with a brick orange rim, started showing its age.

Fruity nose with blackberries, blueberries, strawberry jam, spices, currant, light vanilla, smoke, wood and black pepper.

Medium to full bodied and smooth with long legs.

Spicy and on the attack and dry on the mid palate with blackberries, strawberries, cherries, black currants, earth, wood and peppercorn.

Medium finish with round tannins and spices.

14% alcohol by volume.
Took 2 hours in the decanter to get to this stage.

I had the 2012 not too long ago, and I kept this 2008 for a few years, and it paid off. Big difference. Much smoother and balanced.
