Interesting blend of Sangiovese (60%), Merlot (20%) and Sagrantino (20%). Medium ruby color. Quite floral (purple flowers) on the nose with accents of black pepper. Palate is ripe blackberry driven with notes of black cherry, beef jerky, baking spices and loamy earth. Hint of smoke on the medium finish. Good balance of tannins and acidity.
