Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The 2020 “Sabotage” pours a deep ruby/purple with a transparent core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with bright notes of Bing cherry, black brambles, purple flowers, licorice, some finely ground black pepper and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. Quaffable and has personality. I dig it. Drink now through 2030.
