You know what? Sometimes the grocery store under $30 bottle of Cali Cab Sav hits the spot. Chalk/slate on the nose. Pomegranate is the main flavor note for me. The body is slightly chewy but with a semi dry finish. A nice wine with homemade beef birria that my husband and made from scratch.
