A favorite in my glass tonight - Glen Manor Vineyards Morales Rosé 2015 from Front Royal Virginia. 41% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Franc, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot. Some Merlot grown only for this rosé; other grapes saignée - juice bleed, byproduct of making red wine. Barrel fermented in neutral oak, lees stirred. Nice weight, creamy, fresh berries on the aroma and palate with savory and earthy notes.
