On the palate, blackberries, pepper, medium plus alcohol, medium tannin, medium acid. On the nose, white pepper, dark berries, cloves, and baking spices.

Mother-in law;) American oak- false sense of sweetness. Held back for 3 yrs. Great with venison. Superb nose, not sure on follow through- bit metallic
