Savoury and full Pinot. Needed time to settle after opening the bottle but then mellowed out and showed full fruit and a lovely savoury finish.

Red fruits with noticeable stalks from whole bunch fermentation - great balance and medium bodied with fluid juicy textures - last of 3. This is showing better than the previous 2 bottles. I sometimes get overly influenced by HHs reviews He gave this only 84 points and it is 10 points better than that.

Mid Ruby in colour. Initial aromas of red and black fruits particularly raspberry and also whole bunch notes. Rich and sweet on the palate with plums and cherries finishing with smooth tannins. Fruit for this Pinot was sourced from the Coal Valley, East Coast and Channel sub-regions of Tasmania - the latter adding that richness like you see in Home Hill Estate.

Slightly cloudy mid Ruby in colour. Bright red fruited aromatics, also stalky notes indicating a % of whole bunch in the ferment. On the palate medium bodied with M+ intensity finishing with soft pliant Tannins. From a small producer with grapes sourced from vineyards in the Coal River Tasmania. Short term cellaring.

Deep red Pinot, cherry nose but savoury and earthy palate. Nice acid. Perfect with our truffle risotto.
