Yes. Please. Much drier than I thought it would be. Not showing its age at all. Very excited to see this develop over time. A legend.

I'll take some of this every night until it's gone. What a magnificent wine!

€170 for a 750ml bottle. There are few words to describe, it's rare and simply awesome.

2001 vintage. At Perovino, Romanos hotel and resort in Costa Navarino, Greece. Dark ruby hue. Dark black cherry nose, liquorice, almond paste, sweet spice - nutmeg, old oak spice, dark chocolate. Complex. On the nose, full body, medium acidity, medium tannin - plush and velvety. Full concentration and long finish. Very good.

Pure concentration and elegance. A sweet full wine that seems to soar and float across the palette. Dried cherry and hints of ripe fig with subtle tar and resin elements that march through an endless finish. This is a real treat. Brilliant.

Now I understand why they call Recioto the father of Amarone and all refer to Recioto as the best and most special wine. This wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be, but the smokiness and complexity and the long finish/ aftertaste that keeps evolving in your mouth and leave you wanting more. Spectacular.
