Dolcetto D'Alba

Food friendly, nice depth and a little funk, slight tannins. Earthy.

Zippy up front, a little citrusy (?), moves into caramel at the end. Easy drinking.

Tart red fruit, strawberry, cranberry, anis, with a tart finish with moderate plus acid.

Let it breathe just a bit. But it’s as nice a dolcetto as i’ve had in years. Not fruit-forward, good balance. Excellent with roasted chicken and a little chard with tahini. And it’s less than $20!

Need to let this one breath. Leathery rich full body.

Tannic, reminds me of tobacco flavors. Not fruit forward. I think it tastes dry. Enjoyed it more after it sat in glass for 15 minutes

Angular wine but enjoyable! Drink it up!!!
