Giuseppe E Figlio Mascarello
Santo Stefano di Perno Dolcetto d'Alba
Fruity and delicious. Carbonic? Seems almost Beaujolais-like. Well done for the style.

Feb 21st, 2016Very good table wine. I'd like to keep some on hand for entertaining or a dinner with earthy mushrooms, squash, and maybe truffles. Very fruity, reminiscent of Beaujolais.

Jul 23rd, 2015Austere but definitely a little young to be enjoyed. Red fruits - Apple, plum, and red cherries, but finishes with a strange egg-cream yeast that was only enjoyable paired with mozzarella.

Feb 7th, 2014Nice dolcetto. A little buttery from the Slovenian oak and not as deep fruit as I have had from other dolcettos but I would drink again. I got it at bufalina in Austin.
