This wine comes from a small but distinctive vineyard called “Les Lavrottes” in the northern part of Chambolle-Musigny, situated at the southern corner of Bonne-Mares (grand cru), on a gentle slope, above pebbly & marl-limestone soils which tend to yield a lighter and perfumed expression of Pinot Noir.

It was made with all hand-harvested, organically-farmed fruit and was vinified using 50% whole clusters in partial new oak.

Its color is medium ruby with expressive aromatics and flavors of violet, rose petal, black cherry, wild strawberry, among other red and black fruits. There is a spine of minerality with crushed stones and wet slate as well as delicate vanilla, nutmeg, clove, anise, forest floor, and mushroom notes.

The palate is dry with lifted acidity, a medium body, supple, fine tannins, and a persistent finish.

Cheers to fragrant Chambolle-Musigny expressions, offering depth, deliciousness, & complexity!
