Medium garnet color. Medium+ intensity aromas of ripe red fruit (ripe strawberries, cherries and bramble) there are medicinal herbal aromas and flavors as well (anis, thyme and lemon balm) secondary aromas of after eight and cocoa powder. There are tertiary aromas and flavors of ripe dried fruit like prunes. Dry, medium- acidity, medium sweet luscious tannin and high alcohol medium body and medium+ finish. #puglia #negroamaro #italy

If you have a chance to try Gianfranco Fino ES or JO, do! This Negroamaro is assertive, complex, a poised for a very long life.

Sublime and promising nose but did not meet the expectations compared to the pricetag and the other wines from G. Fino. There are comparable and better Negroamaros for less money... My wife disagrees though... 😆
