Terrific sauv blanc served blind. Ripe and clean with rich body. Called a CA Grenache blanc. Nothing like CA or NZ SBs. First of this wine for me but not the last.

Compares very favorably to a Sancerre with aromas of lemon, fennel seeds, mushrooms, fresh-cut grass, and limestone. Hints of white pepper and bay leaves. Long, delicate finish.
