2008 vintage. Dinner at Pican. Nice pair with Cajun food. Bold, dense, rich, but simple with red fruits. Tannins are soft and silky.

Since the 2006 is one of my favorite wines ever, I had to try one of the 2008... 2008 has a little less tannic grip, very floral, equally as good as 2006 and a bit more approachable now while the 2006 will probably last longer
