Interesting the way some of these 2004s are evolving. There seems to be such an intense tannic extract and grip while some of the fruit is dissapearing prematurely in a kinda oxidative way. Maybe a slightly off bottle but Still enjoyable and fun but had higher hopes for this 2004 and others as well.

Dec 12th, 2014Very proper and correct Barolo, showing no mercy even being a 2006. Tons of anise, tar, tobacco, and slight truffle. Perfect balance in the mouth with s good finish. Tannins a bit soft, which I guess could be good or bad.
