Was surprised at ratings. I thought a fine wine, Semi dry, with alright smoothness and taste

The definition of a first world problem is difficulty finding a sub-$20 Pinot worth drinking, much less serving. You won’t mistake this for a $50-$60 Pinot, but this is pretty good. Soft and velvety, medium-to-full bodied. Plummy with tea and rose petals. A loamy finish, but a bit weak and watery. Got it for $15 at Costco. A WS Top 100. Not convinced it’s worthy of that but it’s solid.
