Was recommended based on our love of Alexander Valley Vineyards. Same region and grapes. Let it decant for 20-30 mins and it tastes like creamy sweet berries. Yum!

Blackberries, black plum, boysenberry, blueberries, mulberries, quite herbal with basil leading the charge, brambly and refined dusty tannins. Not a bad wine for the money. Drink now and over the next 3-5 years.

Merlot biased blend this year, and it shows, still plenty of green pepper on the nose, tannins are quite gentle. Not sure if this needs a few more years in the bottle or a few more hours in the decanter, good but could be better.

Wow, in a very nice place right now, tannins completely gone. The Merlot softens the palate, but the Cabernet still dominates on the nose. Drinking probably at peak.

Raspberry and leather, we've loved this producer for years, still showing tannins and a little green pepper. Definitely a Cabernet biased blend this year. Likely a few years left before it hits it's ultimate sweet spot. (Oh we really miss the 1997 on this bottle, it was the best!!)

Delicious. Very Bordeaux like. Currants and some forest fruits. A bit of green bell pepper. Some sous bois. Perfect age for this
