A single vineyard blend of predominantly Gewurztraminer and Riesling. Cloudy golden straw yellow, a bit of savagnin-like voile aromas and flavors (and plenty of yeast sediment at the bottom), with acacia honey and apple cider. Not exactly what I was expecting but interesting and would go well with some hearty Alsatian dishes. Also: what is it with natural wine guys (I’m just assuming they’re guys) and putting naked ladies on the label?

Hints of sweetness on the nose but dry and saline on the palate. Not a thirst quencher but a good way to kick off a dinner and get the tastebuds warmed up.
