Really interesting wine. Day 1, it’s got a big heft of heat but doesn’t have that rich ripe dried fruit, instead the nose brings more dark spice, plum, and a hint of smoke, leather and chocolate. You feel like you’re sitting on a Chesterfield with a cigar without leaving the lounge. On the palate it has refreshing acidity, medium dusty tannin and a hot back finish.
