Nice find at Bev Mo. Strong flavor, a little smoky, not too sweet, with an unusual nose.

A very tasty Zin! This will become a frequent visitor to my dinner table. Well described on label with raspberry, black cherry present, smooth and a little spicy with a noticeable vanilla finish.

Delicious and fruity without strong alcohol or syrupy thickness. Boysenberry and blueberry flavors abound.

Todd really liked it, I thought it was not s as good as some of my favorites. He would have rated it a9.5

Gen 5 got some bonus points, being a Oklahoma boy, like myself I always appreciate someone leaving something better than they found it (as stated on the back of the label). There is a lot going on with this wine, vanilla hints, rather spicy notes, and a weird raspberry/cherry combination. As you know from previous wine reviews I am not experienced with Zinfandels, and usually stick with my Cabs. This is not appealing to me and will take some time coming around to this drink.
