I love Dolcetto! In the glass it explodes with fresh violets and licorice. Palate is met with dried herbs and rich cherry. Lingering tannins on the finish.

A touch simple, but it's Dolcetto, so..... brilliant effort!

2016 vintage. Black plum, black raspberry, black cherry, violets, little bit of sanguine-iron, dusty tannins.

Varietal inky blue/purplish fruit and spice flavors come through loud and clear in Vajra’s 2016 Dolcetto d’Alba. Supple at the outset, but with good tannic grip, Vajra's Dolcetto delivers superb quality for the money. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2018)

What a delicious discovery to find a completely different grape, from a different country, in a different yearly vintage, that tastes so unmistakably similar to it’s distant doppelgänger. This near clone of Saint Amour is an instant hit for us and I can’t wait to explore other wines from this delicious Italian producer.
