Lots of dark red fruit, verging on a smidge of raisin. Quite forward and delicious. Draws you in with great mouthfeel and refreshing acid. Excellent quality for the price - just a fun one.

The 2017 Barbera d'Alba is a joyous wine that is sure to put a smile on readers' faces. Pliant, supple and full of character, the 2017 offers superb density and tons of pure deliciousness. Sweet dark cherry, plum, mocha and sweet spice are pushed forward in this engaging, arrestingly beautiful Barbera. Best of all, the 2017 is a superb value. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2020)

Nariz: cereza negra, ciruela, arándano, pasas, regaliz, frutas sobre maduras

Boca: Tanino sedosos, Acidez M, Alcohol Alto

Podría pasar por Amarone por los aromas y el alcohol. Muy bueno, pero mas “ripe” que un Barbera típico.

Nice but not amazing. Bright fruit, jam, strawberries and raspberries. Not a ton of depth or complexity but pleasant.

Taste like old souls. More aggressive tannins than usu Italian wines. Yummy with lamb

This wine hit the sweet spot between the grilled New York steak and the grilled scallops. Went well with both, nice cherry flavours and medium bodied
