2014 Vintage - Bought on a whim at G.O. It’s holding up nicely out of screw cap red rim little bit of funk in the nose cherry fruit , underbrush

Label and screw top say easy drinking wine. Darker color Pinot Noir than many. Smells true to the CA Pinot style. Cooled cherry, incense, berries, latex paint. Flavors are big and juicy. Plenty of woods and smoke in there too. Just a hint of athletic tape. This is your expected bigger Sonoma Pinot, but it’s got some character and punch. In there with those Castlerock CA Pinots.

Tart raspberries. Pretty light for a Pino. I think too much of a cherry flavor.
