Brought this for Thanksgiving and drank it with dessert (apple and cherry pies); it stood up and complimented those sweet treats rather perfectly! Then, brought the remaining half-bottle home and enjoyed the smack-in-the-face of dark cherries on the first sip, followed by smoothed tannins from being open for a while. One of my favorite wines to sell and to drink! Always a crowd-pleaser, especially at the $30/bottle price!
