Petroleum, honeysuckle, yellow cake, and lavender nose. On the palate more petrol, peach nectar, honey, ruby red grapefruit, gunpowder, white pepper, with a powerful petrol after nose. I might have called this a quality german trocken Riesling in a blind test. This is a fabulous Viognier in the french style.

Not the honeysuckle bomb of previous vintages. The 2018 vintage adds petroleum, grapefruit, and mineral notes. The finish is clean with light acid. It is almost Riesling like.
