A long time go to wine that I love paired with red sauce and red meat. Flavors linger after every sip. Acidic, warm, and vibrant. The classic bottle doesn't hurt either. This is the Chianti standard for me personally.

Drank on 1/12/2018. Excellent with an Italian-inspired dinner.

One of the better DOCG Chianti I have had. Given it is the lowest of the three tiers of wine from the Tuscan regain, but I was very cheap and appreciative

Used this for pasta sauce and it made it delicious! Great for drinking too, surprisingly smooth and has hints of vanilla.
