Ted's Blend Rutherford Red Bordeaux Blend

Lovely Rutherford Cab blend. Freemark Abbey rarely disappoints. Berries and tobacco and great tannins while being smooth. Yummy!

I have said it before and I am saying it again. This is a good wine. Pop and sniff shows highlights of blackberries and a touch of fall leaves. All of which remain after decanting for over an hour. On the palate you will get blackberries, cigar box, hints of chocolate, dry soil and tobacco. The finish it lovely.

the 2012. well rounded. cherry and cranberry, fruit is forward. continued excellence.

This was awesome with stout glazed short ribs from my sous vide.

I always enjoy this wine. This is another good year. There are a lot of things going on when you take your first sniff. Cherry, rich soil, dark fruit and more. Rich blackberry and leather mix well in your mouth and linger nicely. Super finish.

Complex flavors

Complex and balanced red blend. Lovely forward nose with great floral rush. Fruit is clean and light, blackberry and currant. Nutmeg, cinnamon toward the finish. A bit of grass/herb at the finish.

I'd revisit. Soft, mellow and friendly:)
