Big bold red. Deep burgundy color. Chalky, chewy tannins. Chill to about 64F and leave open in the bottle for an hour. Very good structure incorporating a rich alcohol content. Hints of graphite and pencil shaving aromas. Very dry and complex. Smooth almost too smooth once it opens up.

Decanted and wow did it open up well. We could've held onto it for a few more years. Mt. Veeder producing some delicious wines!
