Gavi Cortese

At Newcastle airport. One of those happy occurrences when by-the-glass wine has received the perfect amount of aeration. I suspect this would be much plainer just after opening (might it be an idea to do this at home?)... A fresh and pleasant crispness coupled with balanced acidity and fruit. Not complex but that's not what it's going for either. A good solid drink!
